Today I’m interviewing Dianne Kenes who lives
in Pennsylvania. She will be married 40 years next month! Now that’s what I
call a happily ever after 😊
Lexi: How did you get into reading romance novels?
Dianne: Since I was
a very young girl I read romance novels.
Lexi: Tell me about your pet.
Dianne: My dog's
name is Skittles. She is a German Short Haired Pointer and was12 years old
on Feb.13.
Lexi: I love that name! What are you good at?
Dianne: I am good at
making crafts and I love to sing.
Lexi: I admire both of those. Tell me about your significant other.
Dianne: My husband
and I will be married 40 years on April 29.
Lexi: I think that's awesome! What’s your favorite dessert?
Dianne: Cherry
Pie
Lexi: What types of romances do you like to read?
Dianne: Contemporary
and mysteries .
Lexi: What are you proud of?
Dianne: I am
proud of my son. He is a fantastic person and husband and in June will be a
father.
Lexi: Oh wow! Congratulations grandma :-) What’s your average day look like?
Dianne: Running
errands, going to the gym and cleaning the house.
Lexi: What’s your perfect day look like?
Dianne: Sleeping
in, reading a book, working on my crafts.
Lexi: How many hours a week do you spend reading romance?
Dianne: 2 or more
hours.
Lexi: Who made the biggest impact on your life?
Dianne: My Dad
Lexi: If you could go on an all expense paid vacation anywhere in the
world, where would you go? Why?
Dianne: Italy. I have
always wanted to go there it looks so beautiful.
Lexi: I've been there and it is! How many books do have in your “To Be Read” pile (means you’ve
bought them but still need to read)?
Dianne: 800 books to
be read in my IPad.
Lexi: Wow! If you could give someone what they wanted most, what and who
would it be?
Dianne: I would
give my friend good health and her memory back. Sue Dewire.
Lexi: I knew I liked you. You have a kind heart. What kind of car do you drive? If you had your choice, would it
be that one or a different one?
Dianne: I drive
a Subaru Forrester and I wouldn't want a different one.
Lexi: How many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren all total
do you have?
Dianne: I have
one son he is married and our first grandchild is on the way in June.
Lexi: That is just so exciting! What do you do for fun (besides reading romance novels)?
Dianne: Knit,
crochet, counted cross stitch. Paint pictures.
Lexi: What did you think you’d be when you grew up?
Dianne: An
interior decorator.
Lexi: What don’t most people on social media not know about you?
Dianne: I love
to sing.
Lexi: That is a real gift. What’s your favorite holiday? Why?
Dianne: Christmas
I love being with all my family and friends on that day.
Lexi: What mistake have you made that you learned the most from?
Dianne: Not to judge
a book by its cover.
Lexi: I love that. What color eyes do you have?
Dianne: Green
Lexi: How old do you think is perfect for a hero?
Dianne: 35 or
40
