Hello readers!
I’m so happy to be visiting
Lexi‘s blog again! And this time we’re
going to San Francisco. Have you ever been? I think it’s a beautiful city and
would love to go back. I’ve been twice and one time when I was there, with my
mom back in 1998, we had an earthquake. It was pretty intense, because I had
been fearing having one months leading up to our trip. I studied geology in
college, so I understand all the forces of the earth that happen below our
feet.
For me it was a business
trip, but for her she was a tagalong and got to do a whole lot of exploring while
I was busy at the conference. I never knew what she was getting up to. She
wasn’t afraid, and for a fiery 5’3” English lady, nothing stood in her way. She
was 68 when we went. She’d go out and meet new people – perhaps that’s where
that’s where I get it from :-) I remember her telling me she almost had a whole
organic apple orchard lined up as a business for us. Sometimes she went a
little bit overboard….like me LOL
The next time I went was for
a writing conference and there were no earthquakes thank goodness.
Experiences from both of
those trips are sprinkled into my newest release MEET ME IN SAN FRANCISCO.
The second book in my Girls Weekend Away series which was released on
September 25. I’m absolutely thrilled that the readers are loving it so far.
It’s garnering many five star reviews and positive comments. The first book WHAT
HAPPENS IN VEGAS was released July 24. And yes, Vegas is another place
I have been to a few times.
The third book is coming out
in December. And it is called THE NASHVILLE BET. A story about a
country music singer and a big city girl. Maybe when you’re reading the
previous two books you’ll be able to figure out which one of the best friends
will be our heroine in the Nashville story. The fourth book, which will wrap up
the series is titled A MATCH MADE IN MONACO. That’s where we head
to a wonderfully exotic location for some nuptials, of course, I’m not going to
tell you who’s getting married!
But one thing I will say is
I am planning on having a series contest. The contest will close after the
fourth book. All contest information will be in my newsletter, so if you
haven’t signed up for it yet, I hope you do. You’ll also get a free download of
my sexy book Hot Fusion. If you’d like to sign up, click HERE.
Here is a peek of all the
covers from my UK publisher!
Don’t you just love them? I get asked why I have
two covers for each book, well, it’s because the world rights (except NA) are
with my UK publisher Headline Eternal Romance and my North American publisher,
Entangled Publishing creates covers for NA. It’s the best of both worlds!

Speaking of travel, it’s
something that I love to do. There’s a big wide world out there and staying in
one place without trying to see as much as possible seems such a shame to me.
It’s taking me a while to be able to travel as much as I do and next month I’m
heading off to Hong Kong and Bali.
I hope you follow my travel
on my social media pages. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Bookbub, Goodreads I’ll be posting a whole lotta pictures to share with everybody.
I’m traveling with a friend of mine. She used to work with me and was a police
sergeant. She left a while ago to become an Ontario fire marshal. She’s one of
three women fire marshals in Ontario and I think there’s an exciting story in
there. So I’ll be picking her brain on our trip for a future book. The only
thing that has me a little nervous is the recent earthquakes and tsunamis on
the islands around Bali, and yes, there is a cranky volcano on Bali - Mount
Agung - and she’s been smoking for the last little while. Fingers crossed
Mother Nature decides to be kind to us when we’re there and not act up.
In the meantime, for all you
pumpkin spice lovers, I hope you have a wonderful fall and enjoy the seasons as
a shift from sultry summer too colourful fall. I’ll be back again in December
and I look forward to speaking with you all then!
